Structure, Installation, and Wiring:

The JBF4101-Ex detector is suitable for installation in hazardous areas with flammable gases, both in industrial and residential buildings (applicable to Zone 1 and Zone 2).

The installation should comply with the relevant provisions of GB3836.15-2000 “Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas (except Coal Mines) – Part 15: Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas.”

It is essential to connect the detector with a safety barrier, which should be installed in a non-explosive area. Pay attention to the polarity of the circuit when connecting the safety barrier.

Each safety barrier can accommodate up to 10 explosion-proof smoke detectors. The number of detectors connected to each alarm circuit using a safety barrier should not exceed 6.

Use a dedicated electronic encoder to set the address code (1-200) for each detector.
