FW511 Point type photoelectric smoke detector

FW511 (Fire Watcher series) is an intelligent smoke detector installed on the detector base FW500. The detector is simple in appearance, durable, and can respond quickly to a variety of flames. The built-in microprocessor (MCU) can self-test, analyze and diagnose the state of the detector. FW511 is an addressable product, occupying one address on the fire alarm controller signal loop (SLC). The detector meets the national standard GB 4715-2005.

According to the absorption and scattering of light by smoke particles, photoelectric smoke detectors can be divided into two types: dimming type and scattered light type. Scattered light photoelectric smoke detectors have become mainstream. Although the detection principles of photoelectric smoke detectors are basically the same, different countries and regions have formulated different product standards, and have made corresponding regulations on the performance requirements of photoelectric smoke detectors.

Applicable places: hotels, hospitals, office buildings, computer rooms, elevator rooms, libraries, archives, etc. and places with electrical fires. Unsuitable places: places where water vapor and oil mist are generated, a large amount of dust is present, and smoke remains under normal circumstances.

Depending on the country of use, the product must be installed as required. If there are products from other manufacturers in the system, please check their device information to obtain corresponding guidance and warnings. Under no circumstances should the detector be used in the following places: areas with a large amount of exhaust gas, kitchens, near stoves, boiler rooms and other places with strong airflow. Protective grilles should not be installed over smoke detectors unless the combination has been evaluated to work well together. Do not smear on the detector.
