FW751 Manual alarm button

The FW751 and FW751C Non-addressable Manual Stations are UL/ULC listed devices according to UL 38 and ULC-S528 for Fire Protective Signaling Systems for indoor use. It is normally open initiating device made from durable materials and solid parts for long-lasting performance. In case of fire, an alarm signal is generated by lifting the cover and pushing the button. A reset key (included) with the manual station. Terminals 3 & 4 are normally open dry contacts.

The manual alarm button is a type of equipment in the fire alarm system. When the personnel find a fire and the fire detector does not detect a fire, the personnel manually press the manual alarm button to report the fire signal.

Under normal circumstances, when the manual alarm button gives an alarm, the probability of fire occurrence is much greater than that of the fire detector, and there is almost no possibility of false alarm. Because the alarm starting condition of the manual alarm button is that the button must be pressed manually to start. When the manual alarm button is pressed, the fire alarm confirmation light on the manual alarm button will light up after 3-5 seconds. This status light indicates that the fire alarm controller has received the fire alarm signal and confirmed the site location.

Products must be installed per the National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 72, CAN / ULC-S524, and/or National Electrical Code, depending on the country of the installation. Check the information on equipment used in the system from other manufacturers for instructions and restrictions. The detector should never be installed in the following places: where there is a lot of exhaust gas, kitchens, near fireplaces, boilers, etc. Smoke detectors should not be used with detector guards unless the suit has been evaluated and approved for this case.
