In Yueqing Baiyear Electronics Co., Ltd., there is an exciting internal skills competition that has not only unleashed the potential of our employees but also strengthened the unity of our team. On September 13, 2023, at 14:30 in the afternoon, our PMC Material Handler Skills Competition took place as scheduled, attracting enthusiastic participation from numerous employees in our Material Control Department, with the competition being held at our main factory, new factory, and swimming pool warehouse.
The objective of this competition was to elevate the skill levels of our employees, encourage them to continuously improve themselves, and inject a dose of fierce competition into our Material Control Department. As an injection molding factory, we understand the critical importance of our employees’ skills and efficiency in maintaining product quality and production efficiency. Therefore, we decided to enhance our employees’ skills in this fun and challenging manner.
The rules of the competition were straightforward: each material handler randomly selected 5 products from their respective area’s material request list and had to locate these items within a specified time frame. The competition not only tested the participants’ memory and familiarity but also placed rigorous demands on their work efficiency and teamwork.
All employees were eagerly anticipating this competition because we had prepared substantial rewards for the winners. It was not only an opportunity to showcase individual abilities but also a platform to reap multiple benefits. Prizes included gold medals, cash rewards, and a special certificate, which would be presented with great ceremony within the company. Furthermore, the winners would receive recognition from the company’s top management and have the opportunity to represent our company in industry skill competitions.
The response to the competition’s registration was overwhelming, with many employees enthusiastically signing up, hoping to stand out and demonstrate their prowess. This competition not only elevated employees’ skill levels but also brought colleagues closer together and strengthened team cohesion. Everyone encouraged each other and learned from one another, progressing together.
